Q I received a damaged handmade item? How can I return it and claim refund?

As art lover, you may appreciate the fact that all our products are handmade and original. We check them thoroughly to ensure they closely resemble with what we have exhibited on our site/social media platforms. However, there can be slight variation in the shipped product as they are completely handmade. Therefore, we do not accept such returns. We just try to deliver original, 100% handmade products to our buyers which look better than the images put on our website or elsewhere. However, if the artwork has reached you in a damaged state, as a buyer we expect you to immediately notify the courier company when you accept the delivery. (We can’t stress enough how important this is for us in order to process your refund). Next, you need to click a picture of the damaged product and send it to us on given email id /whatsapp number.(We will probe the matter and refund your money as quickly as possible if your claim is found genuine). If we discover that the original artwork has been damaged during the transit, we will issue you a full credit of the handicraft item that you paid along with shipping charges (if any). We may take 7-10 days to credit your account from which received the payment once your refund request is approved by us.

Q What is your return/order cancellation process?

We can initiate an order cancellation request only within 24 hours of placing an order and NO RETURNS/CANCELLATIONS will be entertained after 24 hours. Please make the request to us by sending us an email at Unfortunately, we cannot cancel an order if you have surpassed the limit of 24 hours. Before you claim return/refund, just ensure that you have adequately reported the damaged product to SoulSrijan and have received our approval. We once again specify that we do not entertain any return unless product is defective or damaged during transit. Here are the steps to return an item: • To return an item sold by SS, just fill out the returns form given on the site along with artwork package and also specify the reason for the return. • Send us the picture of the damaged product on info@soulsrijan and specify the reason for return. • Once approved, we will require you to ship your item back to us along with its original packaging. We will arrange for a courier and notify you about the time of collection. • We typically issue refund within 48-72 hours of receiving the package.

Q How will I get the refund for all artwork?

For all handmade items, we will issue the refund in the form of a credit back to your account. We may also change our policy anytime and issue a refund in the form of store credit, which buyers can use to buy the same or different product. Refund will be made in Indian Rupees. For electronics payments, we will process the refund through NEFT / RTGS or any other online banking / electronic funds transfer system as approved by Reserve Bank India ("RBI"). Refund will be subject to Buyer complying with SS Policies.

Q Do I Have to Pay Return Shipping Charges?

If items are fulfilled by SS, you don’t have to pay return shipping charges. However, for all third-party transactions, you can initiate a return through the SS claim refunds page, but you may be required to pay for return fees.

Q What if a user abuses the SS Return Policy?

If we notice that you return the majority of the products you buy, SS could flag your account and not allow you make any further returns. Also, it may happen that a user asks for a return, but doesn’t actually return the item, SS may take action against you.

Q How Many Times I can Return Items?

If you have a genuine issue, there is NO limit for the number returns.
